Eco-Workshop-Recycling Together

The aim of this workshop is to raise participants' awareness about recycling, improve their recycling skills and encourage them to produce environmentally friendly products. There is an age limit of +18 for this activity.

Activities:

- Recycling Training: In the first part of the workshop, participants are informed about the importance of recycling and different recycling materials. Topics such as which materials are recyclable, how they should be separated, and the environmental benefits of recycling are discussed.

- Recycling Art: Participants create works of art using recycled materials. For example, sculptures can be made from plastic bottles, picture frames can be made from cardboard boxes, or collages can be created from pieces of paper.

- Recycling Crafts: Participants produce handmade products using recycled materials. For example, they can produce recycled wristbands made from plastic, shopping bags made from old fabrics, or souvenirs made from cardboard boxes.

- Recycling Projects: In groups, participants develop recycling projects. For example, designing a playground made of waste materials, creating a sculpture made of recycled materials, or organizing recycling campaigns.

This workshop serve as a preparation for a Recycling Workshop Exhibition, the materials that has been prepared will be presented in an open-public exhibiton in Iznik. 

While this workshop helps disabled individuals increase their environmental awareness and understand the importance of recycling, it also strengthens social bonds and reveals the creativity of the participants.
