Rhythm World

The aim of this workshop is to encourage disabled individuals to discover their musical talents, develop their sense of rhythm and express them through music. There is no age limit for this workshop.

Activities:

- Rhythm Games: Participants play rhythm games using different percussion instruments. For example, they create rhythmic patterns with instruments such as bongo drums, maracas, cymbals and rattles.

- Singing: In groups or individually, participants sing their favorite songs. This allows participants to express their emotions and express themselves using their voices.

- Playing Instruments: Participants are given the opportunity to try and play different musical instruments. By using simple instruments, participants can improve their musical skills and enjoy playing instruments. This workshop does not include instrument training, but it helps participants discover the instrument they are skilled/interested in. Afterwards, professional help is recommended and participants are guided.

- Rhythmic Dance: Accompanied by rhythmic music, participants learn simple dance moves and express their sense of rhythm with their bodies. This helps develop both musical abilities and physical movement abilities.

This music workshop enables individuals with disabilities to interact with music, express their creativity, and enjoy their musical experiences. Additionally, it increases social interactions and strengthens feelings of solidarity and cooperation within the group.
